Learning objectives After participation on the training the participant will be able to:
  • Understand the basics of the DVB Transport streams structure,
  • Understand the basics of DVB modulation and error correction,
  • Understand the structure of the MPEG-PSI tables and descriptors,
  • Understand the structure of the DVB-SI tables and descriptors,
  • Understand the principles of DVB Conditional Access and SimulCrypt or OpenCas,
  • Analyse Transport Streams and PSI-SI tables on a Transport Stream analyser.

Structure The training course is partly lecture completed with practical exercises like creating PSI/SI tables and using a Transport Stream analyser.
   
Remarks

For this training a classroom is required where the training PC’s can be installed.
For on site training, customer must provide a classroom and beamer.
For training at eventIS office, eventIS will provide appropriate PC’s.
For on-site training, customer must provide one PC per person (Windows XP with administrator rights for installing software).
